Layer tennis is a game where you “volley” a Photoshop file between two designers for the fun of it. I admit that my rooting interest is for JSS as I’ve always admired his work and ideas (long-time A List Apart reader for awhile). Arguably, after I saw him and the crew at AEASF08 — they inspired me to “do more” and hence this website. Anyway, this is a fun account of their game that’s fun to read… fitting for this week.

I Love Typography — The first one’s the hardest by Jeremy Mickel

I love this article. Jeremy worked so hard on that typeface and I just felt so inspired reading it. He spend a year and half on Router and it’s simply brilliant. So much personality in such a elegant package. The italic “k” i simply brilliant. I’d totally punch a leprechaun in the face for this typeface.
