TYPEWHAT?!?

TYPESETT is a blog for creatives, no matter their “specialty”. It was created for people like me who like design blogs and web development blogs but didn’t like how they are often separated. As if one precludes from the other. It’s not always the case, but even ones that can cover both well only write about design as it pertains to the web (or print, or just typography or just news). So TYPESETT was created to be more of a general creative website that has no boundaries. The other differentiating factor is that the editorial tone will be “entertaining and useful” rather than just being “useful”.

The ringleader of TYPESETT is designer and web developer — Jack Tse. He’s a 30yr old from Brooklyn, NYC and currently resides in Silicon Valley. Graduated from The School of Visual Arts as a Advertising and Graphic Design Major — he has steadily progressed from a print to a now web focused career. He’s all about holistically solving communication projects, user focused usability design and (of course) standards compliant code.
